 FAQ
"Triangle"? Do you mean "Delta"?

Haha, no, but we get that one all the time. It's "Triangle". There are many reasons for the name, one of which being that it is simply a name fitting for a fraternity of architects, engineers, and scientists. However, another reason could be that Triangle only intiates men that are studying one or more of those "three" broad fields of study. There are other reasons for the name as well, but you would have to be a Brother of Triangle to find them out.

What are your letters?

Triangle Fraternity, while Greek, does not have Greek letters. We are one of two fraternities in the North-American Interfraternity Conference that do not utilize Greek letters or have a Greek name; the other being Farmhouse. However, we do have a symbol similar to the Greek letter "Delta"; the "Delta T", an equilateral triangle with a capital T in the middle. An example is shown to the right.

Why does Triangle only take students studying Engineering, Architecture, and Science?

Triangle was founded by 16 Civil Engineers, not just through friendship, but also through a common professional interest. This professional focus is a huge part of what makes Triangle unique today as a social fraternity.
